One of Japan's most popular bands is set to release a greatest hits album. Asian Kung-Fu Generations "Best Hit AKG" is set to release in the U.S alongside it's Japan release.Asian Kung-Fu Generations formed in 1996 when Masafumi GotÅ, Kensuke Kita, and Takahiro Yamada met in their College Music Club with the drummer, Kiyoshi Ijichi, joined the band shortly after. AKG would perform small venues as an indie rock band, releasing a six track cd in 2000. They would go to release six major albums and have four of their songs used as openings for such hit Anime as Naruto, Bleach, Full Metal Alchemist and the animated film Tekkonkinkreet.
The CD will include the following tracks:
