As with any convention, Fanime Con has an area dedicated to merchants wanting to sell their products to the convention attendees. This year Fanime Con will be hosting up to 70 different vendors and counting.
There are many different types of vendors planning to attend the convention but they can all be summed up into different categories:
- Cosplay
- Toy’s and figures
- Clothes and Accessories
I’ve taken the time to research a select few of the vendors scheduled to be in the dealers den on May 27th.
Cosplay
It isn’t an Anime Convention without waves of people in custom made costumes depicting their favorite characters. Having a vender to supply last minute costume changes and the occasionally newcomer interested in becoming a cosplayer.
Epic Cosplay is the one stop for character wigs and hair extension both on the internet and at Fanime Con. Their wig patterns range from straight, curly, ponytails, and boy cut wigs.
They also feature a wide array of specialty wigs based off the hairstyles of different anime characters like Winry from Full Metal Alchemist, Misa from Death Note, Kairi from Kingdom Hearts, Jushiro from Bleach, and even Luka from the Vocaloid software series.
For some Cosplayers, every detail must be matched in order to be in character. The Contact lenses Company supplies some of the greatest lenses to complete your cosplaying experience.
T.C.L.C’s products range from simple color changing lenses,
to the exotic designs:
Toys and Figures
This is for the collectors out there. Fanime Con will have dozens of dealers selling a wide arrange of collectable toys and figurines.
This vendor holds a wide selection of models and figurines. Their products range from figurines, dolls and plushes, board games, and trading cards.
Local Comic book stores like Cards and Comic Central of San Francisco, Ca will also be at the convention offering some of the best deals on figurines and trading cards.
Clothes and Accessories
Want to go for that J-Pop look? Visual you is for you. Their line of clothes can put you in the right look for Fanime Con. And no clothing line would be complete without accessories. They sell everything from shoulder bags, wrist bracelets, T-Shirts, Goggles, and wallets.
One of my favorite dealers, Boshi-Basiik specialize in making custom made hats and t-shirts. The people behind Boshi- Basiik know how to make some of the cutest hats and awesome t-shirts.
